Delicious Donuts Inc was started in 2021 in the midst of the pandemic. I would go out to the park and sell these mini cake donuts for just 50 cents each. The first time I really left my building to sell donuts was around Christmas. I remember the moment I put the tray down there were swarms around me, asking for all types of donuts. That day was when I realized I actually wanted to do this. Over the winter I don’t sell donuts, so that winter I worked on perfecting a recipe for yeast donuts. On March 6th 2022 I went out and sold yeast donuts for the first time. I kept doing this on and off for a few months until just last summer, when I decided to build a donut cart. Since then, I’ve been selling every weekend in the Lower East Side. Right now, I’m working on my first cookbook, The Donut Way which is expected to release May 1!
